Hello! I am a new Graduate Assistant (GA) for the HDS Admissions Office. I am a student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) pursuing a master’s degree in Higher Education and I am so excited about joining the HDS Admissions team this year.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I’ve lived in LA all my life other than the four years I spent in the small town of Hanover, New Hampshire where I attended Dartmouth College. I graduated in 2018 with a degree in Government, however, I have since realized my passion for working in higher education.

My interest in higher education stems from my experiences navigating college and the college admissions process. As an undergraduate at Dartmouth, I served as a Residential Advisor, interned for the Assistant Dean and Advisor to Latinx students, and I co-led the Coalition for Immigration Reform and Equality at Dartmouth (CoFIRED) where I worked alongside a team of students to ensure the undocumented community on campus had access to necessary support and resources. Since committing to HGSE, it has been a challenge to narrow down the list of courses I plan to take before completing the year long program. I am currently taking classes on topics such as Ethnic Studies, Contemporary Immigration Policies, College Student Development, and the Future of Postsecondary Education.
